New Poll-Clinton Leading By 40 Points In W.Va.
Sat May 10, 2008 at 10:25:14 AM PDT
I think I'll post this without opinion, (at least up here!).
Take it for what it is, folks.
The TSG Poll was taken last Saturday.
From the Charleston Gazette:
TSG Consulting, a political consulting firm with offices in Charleston and Beckley, released a statewide poll showing Clinton with a commanding 40-point lead over Obama, 63 percent to 23 percent. The telephone poll, conducted by Orion Strategies Saturday among 300 Democratic and independent voters, had a margin of error of nearly 6 percent.
Tom Susman, president of TSG, said if that vote holds true on Election Day it would give Clinton 18 pledged delegates to Obama's 10.
BREAKING-Indy Star: Hardcore Hoosier Repubs Crossing Over In DROVES
Tue May 06, 2008 at 09:20:30 AM PDT
I was afraid this was going to happen....
The Indy Star Blog is running with this article, titled:
"'Hardcore' Republicans voting Democrat"
10:51 AM --
The two precincts at Broad Ripple Family Center selected Republican Jon Elrod over Democrat Andre Carson in March's special election for U.S. Congress. But by 9 a.m., just 21 voters in one of those precincts had requested Republican ballots -- out of 168 cast.
Amid heavy turnout, Republicans appeared to be crossing over in droves today in Marion County and suburban counties, where fewer Republican voters might impact down-ticket primary races.
http://www.indystar.com/...
HUGE turnout reported all over the state, with some precincts already at 20%.

Oh christ...
Like we didn't have ENOUGH problems with the schisms within this Party right now.
She's now on the hunt for the 10,189 siganatures to be qualified for the Ballot, I assume as an INDEPENDENT.
I'm going to present this, WITHOUT OPINION. (At least up here!)
Welcome To INDIANA, Folks
Wed Apr 23, 2008 at 08:23:39 AM PDT
Now that Indiana suddenly "Matters", I thought I'd take a moment to give you all a quick primer on the state (As much as I can), and it's more recent political history/leanings..
The FIRST thing to take note of is that this will be a wild, WIDE-OPEN Primary. The "Rush Limbaugh Effect" could play a big factor here, despite the Indiana Dem Party's threats to challenge "New" or "Former Republican" voters.
The State Machine, along with the VERY popular Evan Bayh is solidly behind Clinton.
Cooper-Why No Questions About Hillary's COMMUNIST Ties?

If you needed any further proof of what this split in the Party is doing to us, look no farther than THIS article:
Hillary And The Commies
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
Marc Cooper has an article up on HuffPo bringing up a question about Hillary that was always dissmissed in the past a product of "The Right-Wing Smear Machine".
During Tuesday night's Pennsylvania debate, George Stephanopoulos didn't flinch from trying to smear Barack Obama by association with former 60's radical Bill Ayers. Too bad George didn't ask Hillary about her own summer spent working for a law firm run by Communists.

Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 10:08:57 PM PDT
This isn't going to make a lot of folks here very happy, but it validates what I've been saying all weekend.
BITTERGATE isn't playing well, here.
Everyone in Indiana likes to think they live in a small-town, even those in Indy, and what may play well in San Fransisco is upsetting a LOT of people in this state.
It's time to take your blinders off, people, and admit this was a MAJOR blunder, that Obama needs to APOLOGIZE for.
We wouldn't accept this "misspoke" crap from Hillary, so why are we accepting it fropm Obama?
While the numbers aren't as wild as this morning's ARG, it's very telling.
ARG-Hillary Up TWENTY POINTS In Pennsylvannia
Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 07:45:28 AM PDT
I'm no fan of ARG's wildly inconsistent polling, but it's the INTERNALS that interst me.
Most notably the FALL of Obama among Black voters, that previous polls have put at 90%+..
Probably too early to say whether "BITTERGATE" is having an effect yet, but you'll note the question about advertising?
Presented WITHOUT OPINION for your discussion!

MSNBC-Obama Refusing To Pay Philly Dem Machine Payola!
Fri Apr 11, 2008 at 09:54:57 AM PDT
MSNBC, quoting the L.A. Times, is reporting that the Obama Campaign is refusing to pay the "traditional" Philadelphia Street Money PAYOLA for the Primary Election.
It's custom in Philly for Democratic Party insiders to get "Walking Around Money" for thier GOTV efforts.
Folks, it's EXACTLY this type of near-corruption that we MUST stop.

DRUDGE-Hillary Calls For Bush To Boycott Olympics Opening
Mon Apr 07, 2008 at 09:31:28 AM PDT
It's up as a Red headline on Drudge right now....
She's asking Bush to Boycott the Olympics opening Ceremonies.
Will update as more information becomes available.....
This has LOTS of implications, the least of which is our Relationship with China.
And, I'm SURE she will ask why Obama waited so long to speak for "Human Rights", etc.etc...
The D.C. Country Club Democrats Are LAUGHING At US
Sat Apr 05, 2008 at 08:48:11 AM PDT
Yesterday's late-Friday document dump of the Clinton's Tax Returns should be a wake-up call for ALL of us.
The DC Corporate Democrats are getting FILTHY RICH by playing on our fears, and we have precious little to show for it.
We have allowed a huge, Outside-the Party's Control Machine of 527's and foundations to be built, largely financed with OUR MONEY, to the detriment of the Party. We are subsidizing a grand lifestyle of DC Mansions, Private Jets, and Limos with our hard-earned cash, while a child went to bed hungry and cold in Detroit last night, ducking from the sounds of gunfire.
Indiana Dem Party To Challenge "Cross-Over" Voters In Primary
Fri Apr 04, 2008 at 08:54:40 AM PDT
The Northwest Times, a Newspaper in Indiana's CD1, is reporting that the Democratic Party is planning "Challenges" against cross-over voters in Indiana's May Primary.
http://www.thetimesonline.com/...
Is there is ANYBODY that knows how to shoot themselves in the foot any better than what passes for Party Leadership in this State?
At a time when we should be WELCOMING a change in voter attitudes in this state, our "Leadership" is going to engage in a VOTER SUPPRESSION Campaign?
OBAMA-Clinton's "Economic Miracle" Was A Fantasy
Fri Mar 28, 2008 at 08:41:56 AM PDT
Both U.S. News and the Financial Times are reporting on Obama's comments about the "Clinton Financial Legay" today.
FT is by FAR the most critical, and it's headline is:
"Obama Blames Clinton Era for (Mortgage)Crisis"
Although he didn't mention the Clinton's by name, it's very clear who he meant.
In calling for "an overhaul of US financial regulation" and another $30 billion in stimulus funding, the "clear target of Mr Obama's speech was the economic record of the 1990s."

Pledged Obama Super-Delegate Charged With Federal Crimes
Thu Mar 27, 2008 at 02:43:37 PM PDT
This time, it's Puerto Rico Governor, Gov. Anibal Acevedo Vila, charged Thursday with 19 counts in a campaign finance probe, including conspiracy to violate U.S. federal campaign laws and giving false testimony to the FBI.
The indictment also charged 12 others associated with Acevedo's Popular Democratic Party as a result of a two-year grand jury investigation, acting U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodriguez said.
Acevedo, a superdelegate for the Democratic Party who has pledged to support Sen. Barack Obama, served in Washington as the island's nonvoting delegate to Congress and was elected governor in 2004 after campaigning on an anti-corruption platform.

Who Should Drop Out? 22% Say Clinton, 22% Say Obama
Wed Mar 26, 2008 at 09:14:13 AM PDT
As if you needed any further proof of how divided this Party is right now, it's glaringly displayed in the Rassmussen Poll of Democratic likely voters.
22% of Democrats Want Clinton to Drop Out; 22% Say Obama Should Withdraw
Twenty-two percent (22%) of Democratic voters nationwide say that Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination. However, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that an identical number—22%--say that Barack Obama should drop out.
A solid majority of Democrats, 62%, aren’t ready for either candidate to leave the race.
And this statement pretty much sums up sentiments on KOS:
Forty-seven percent (47%) of Obama supporters think Clinton should drop out. Thirty-eight percent (38%) of Clinton supporters say Obama should drop out.
